My 2012 California has started making this grinding noise when shifting from first to second gear, and the shifts are getting noticeably jerky. It’s not a daily driver, but I take it out on weekends and this has me genuinely worried. I took it to a local garage that handles regular cars, and they basically told me they don't touch Ferraris because they don't have the right diagnostic tools or the expertise for the dual-clutch system. I get it, these aren't your average gearboxes. I’ve been calling around Sharjah and the quotes I'm getting for a transmission diagnostic are all over the place. Some places say they can do it but I’m not confident they actually know what they're doing. I came across a workshop that claims to offer expert Ferrari transmission repair in Sharjah and mentions working on the F1 and DCT systems specifically, which sounds promising . But I'd rather hear from someone who’s actually used a shop in the Industrial Area and can tell me if they’re genuine or just trying to cash in on the badge. Has anyone here had their Ferrari gearbox sorted in Sharjah and can recommend a place that’s honest and actually knows these transmissions? I really don’t want to be the guy who pays twice because the first shop made things worse. Any advice would be a massive help.
