Marco Polo's journey along the Silk Road is the first documented meeting between West and East. The symbolism of the Tarot is duplicated here and compared in dialogue and dialectic between the cultures of these worlds, both paths explored by the Venetian, on a long trip here becomes a muse and inspiration.
