This volume transcribes the conference Rene Guenon spoke at the Sorbonne on 17 December 1925 concerning the Eastern metaphysics. After defining what it really means \ "metaphysical \" and point out what the object of his study, media exposes Guenon metaphysical realization, explaining that the true metaphysics is still alive in the East. Guenon conclude this essay pointed out the essential cause of the crisis in the West today: its metaphysical rootlessness. The individual, as we know it today, is in fact nothing but a transitory and contingent manifestation of the true and metaphysics precisely lead us to the realization of the true self.
